Natures Green

The color green is natures back drop. It surrounds us with lawns and trees and all flowers have green stems and leaves that are the basis of beautiful colors. When the color green is incorporated into our lives and in our interiors, it feels perfectly natural. It is the ultimate way to bring the outdoors in. We love the way that accenting with the color can be enough to refresh a room. How beautiful is the green trim on the windows and pillows in the first bedroom? It is so pretty! The green wallpaper in the bathroom and bedrooms is also so different and fun. The color green is natures carpet of beauty, so of course it is wonderful to see green interiors.

Designer and Color

When we pulled this post together it was in early spring and I thought the images were too saturated to post on. The colors in these interiors are deep and rich. Cozy in feel, and are so far from the warm breeze feel of of spring and summer. I cannot believe it, but we are starting to see the change in the leaves happening. Everyone is getting ready to return to to school except those girls that just graduaded from college this spring. (yay!) Where has the time gone? Trips to San Fran and New Orleans are over and full time jobs have started. Only one more to think about a senoir year and finding a college.  Back to the interiors...there lots of bright colors with velvets and deep colored walls. Everyone is getting ready for fall.

Francis Sultana Interiors

Francis Sultana, an interior design company based out of London has some of the most beautiful interiors featured on his website. The mirrors are my favorite detail, especially the one in the bathroom. I am also loving the clean walls and light colors infused around these rooms; lots of whites and grays make the rooms look sleek and sophisticated while the pops of color in the art make them interesting and a little fun.

You Had Me At...The View. J. K. Place Capri

I could die and go to heaven in this place...When I saw the cover of the brochure with this image, I knew I had found my Monday post. The blue scheme in this flawless hotel is beyond words and I will just have to let the photos do the explaining. 

Every single detail is impeccable. The color selections are so elegant and peaceful! Every piece of furniture is to perfect. I just love every single detail! And the views don't hurt either!!! Located on the Island of Capri in Italy, The Hotel J.K. Place Capri is on my list of places to visit.

Lustworthy Trunks

Don't you just love these Louis Vuitton vintage trunks? I think they are gorgeous and so classic. I found a blog post dedicated solely to Louis Vuitton travel trunks from 1889-1930 here that is really fun to look at. My great grandmother had a set of LV trunks that she would take with her when she would vacation at the Breakers in Palm Beach, Florida back in the day and they are monogrammed with her first and last name. (They are in a museum at the moment, but otherwise I would love to have them in my possession...) I would also love to have a set of the Goyard Trunks from Paris. A girl can dream right? For now, I can get an inexpensive trunk from the container store or from amazon.

Kitchens

What inspirational kitchens! The workmanship and design are just stunning. Throughout these images, the tones of colors used on all the cabinets are so soothing. The greys and greens add an almost shaker quality to the designs of the kitchens. Some of the details that we especially like are the french chicken wire covering upper cabinets, nail head trim used along walls to detail cabinets, Wood used in some of the kitchens on ceilings and counters to add warm. Also the amazing lighting used to give character and style to the kitchens featured. We hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.
